“You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too loud, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you lose your edge. Apologize for mistakes. Apologize for unintentionally hurting someone — profusely. But don’t apologize for being who you are.” – Danielle Laporte

“Like dogs, bicycles are social catalysts that attract a superior category of people.” – Chip Brown

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a sunrise Instagram meet-up at the Williamsburg Bridge and met the coolest guy with the best IG feed that stars his bike mostly and the bikes of others. I was so inspired by him I couldnt resist getting a shot of him with his bike under the bridge. He is a fellow designer and we had a nice exchange about how being a designer influences our photos.

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born”
– Anais Nin

Recently captured this one of my best friend while we were running around during Summer Streets. She often serves as my NYC tour guide and always wows me with her knowledge and anecdotes about all of the gorgeous architecture here. It seemed appropriate that my favorite shot would be of her looking up, something she probably does often on these streets.

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.”
– Sophia Loren

Just a quick post to share my favorite shot from an 80th Birthday party shoot not long ago. I absolutely loved talking with this woman who told me she was “hoping to use a few of these shots on her website.”
